As we wrap up the year, I just had to ask the kids what they enjoyed most about school. Was it the different countries we explored, the fun reading books, the computer games? To my immense surprise, my son said that his favorite thing this year was math!
After all of our struggles this year with that subject, I could have cried for joy to hear him say that. The Math Mammoth materials have been the answer to my prayers; the helpful work pages and the fun game suggestions have perfectly filled the ever-widening gap that A Beka was creating for us.
He's learning greater than/less than here, and when I snapped the picture, he actually thanked me for taking a picture of his activity!
I’m so very grateful for the grace we’ve been given on this year’s journey. We’ve gone from “I hate math” at the beginning of the year (the kindergarten year, no less) to math as his favorite subject, and I couldn’t be more thrilled.
